Job summary

Mead & Hunt is seeking a highly motivated supervisor to lead staff within our Architecture South Central group in Dallas, TX. The role emphasizes day-to-day staff management, workload planning, and performance coaching, while balancing billable project work.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience (or 5+ with an Associate degree, or 7+ without a degree) and strong client development skills, with travel up to ~30% and a flexible on-site/remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in architecture or related field from an accredited college or university; or related path as specified.
At least 3 years of relevant architectural experience; or 5 years with an Associate degree; or 7 years with no degree.

Responsibilities

Supervising, managing, and mentoring architectural staff.
Evaluating staff performance and helping with goal setting for professional growth.
Providing project management or leading architectural technical leadership on projects that include local/state/federal government, military, and airport projects across the country.
Managing staff productivity to meet target goals.
Managing medium to large projects for budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Developing and managing client contacts to secure future work.
Developing proposals including scope and pricing.
Providing quality (QC) reviews.
Assisting in the development of design and production standards.
Other tasks as assigned.
