Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Architecture Management to shape Walmart’s architectural strategy across the enterprise. You will lead and mentor a high-performing portfolio of consultants, drive AOR partnerships, and ensure architectural resources align to business priorities.

This role emphasizes design leadership, documentation quality, and scalable delivery across projects. You will partner with Design, Prototype, Engineering, Construction, and business teams to strengthen alignment,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Architecture, or a related field and 3 years’ experience in retail store design, or 5 years’ experience in retail store design, or a related area.

Responsibilities

• Support Architecture Management strategy, connecting Walmart’s design direction with the architectural partners and capabilities needed to deliver at scale.
• Shape AOR strategy and assignments based on expertise, capacity, performance, and business needs.
• Lead consultant partnerships, onboarding, mentorship, performance, document quality, and accountability.
• Provide architectural leadership and professional judgment across design, constructability, code, standards, and execution challenges.
• Partner across Design, Prototype, Engineering, Construction, and business teams to strengthen alignment and resolve challenges.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of consultants.
• Oversee consultant contracts, fees, and performance expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement across Walmart’s architectural partner network.
