Overview
Leadership role reporting directly to the Executive Vice President. Work as a Division Leader assisting in the implementation of Architecture’s overall strategic goals as well as those for each primary market: Higher Education, K-12, Healthcare & Justice/Public Safety.
Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Maintains strong relationships with existing municipal and institutional clients and builds new client relationships ensuring their objectives are met and projects are executed successfully and profitably.
- Business Development: Works with the Division Leader and Executives identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in line with the strategic goals of the business unit. Works with the Division Leader updating the business and marketing plans. Leads the technical preparation of proposals interfacing with the Marketing Team.
- Project Management: Works with the Deputy Business Unit Leader – Operations, overseeing project activities from initiation to completion, ensuring the successful delivery, budget control and design quality.
Leadership
Works with the Division Leader, Deputy Business Unit Leader – Operations and Executives in implementing the overall strategic direction of the division, leadership of markets and contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment. Works with other divisions and inter-department activities collaborating with HR, Finance, Marketing and IT to accomplish overall firm goals and initiatives.
Requirements
- Architectural degree from an accredited University
- Licensed Architect with a minimum of 20 years of experience
- Experience in the Architectural Division’s core markets – Higher Ed, K-12, Healthcare & Justice/Public Safety
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Strong client-facing and business development skills
- Strong project management and technical skills
