Job summary

Jacobs in Irvine is seeking an Architecture Intern to support design development, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and gain hands-on experience across design phases.

You will use Revit and related tools such as SketchUp, Adobe Suite, InDesign, Rhino, Lumion or Enscape to contribute to concept through detailed design, with mentorship from licensed architects.

Join Jacobs as an Architecture Intern in Irvine to support design development, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and gain hands-on experience.

Your Role

• Assist with project planning and programming.

• Receive mentorship from licensed architects.
• Visit project sites and connect with clients to understand the full design and construction process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the Irvine office.

About You

The company is looking for:

• United States Citizenship.
• Current enrollment in a degree-seeking Architecture program accredited by NAAB.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, Adobe Suite, InDesign, and Revit.
• Understanding of general architectural concepts.

Ideally, candidates will also have:

• Enrollment in a Masters of Architecture program from an NAAB accredited program.
• Previous architecture internship experience with a design engineering firm, consultancy, or government agency.
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software such as Rhino, Lumion, or Enscape.
• Working experience with SketchUp, Adobe Suite, InDesign, and Revit.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range of $55,000.00 to $73,000.00, paid hourly based on hours worked.
• Individual pay determined by work location, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
