Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Architecture Intern to design diverse building types using Revit, plan layouts, and coordinate multidisciplinary elements for client review. You’ll work within our Advanced Manufacturing team and gain mentorship to grow professionally.

You’ll be part of a hybrid work culture, with exposure to design, engineering and consulting workflows, while building practical skills across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in architecture from an accredited program
• Rising Junior (2 years completed coursework prior to starting internship) or currently in Master’s program
• Familiarity/ Experience with programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, basic rendering and publishing programs, and Microsoft Office suite
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role
• Current enrollment in a Master's degree in architecture
• Previous design internship with an Architecture, Engineering or Consulting firm
• Proficient in interpreting construction drawings

Joining Jacobs as an Architecture Intern, you’ll join our collaborative Advanced Manufacturing team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. For projects of every scale, we provide design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and maintenance services that support a facility's entire life cycle and have established ourselves as the center of excellence.

You’ll design various types of buildings using mainly Revit and will plan and program layouts of projects, coordinating and integrating all other discipline elements into unified design for client review and approval.

Here’s what you’ll need

The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $65,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
