Job summary

STV Incorporated in Waco, Texas, is seeking an Architecture Intern for Summer 2027. This part-time, hybrid role requires three in-office days weekly and supports undergraduate and graduate students through hands-on design work with senior architects.

You will gain experience in architectural documentation, code analysis, and project coordination across disciplines, while pursuing your degree in architecture and applying tools like Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in Rhino, 3-D Max, SketchUp is a plus and LEED Accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the initial design phase and contribute to detailed architectural design work with various disciplines, clients, and consultants.
• Support the preparation of architectural plans under supervision of senior architects.
• Assist in the analysis of design and construction systems, planning studies, design layouts, and construction details.
• Participate in site and construction inspections to gather information and assist in preparing interpretive reports.
• Aid in executing code analysis, material selections, and technical solutions.
• Contribute to analyzing design and construction systems, design layouts, and construction features by researching, compiling, and recording information.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to support project integration and cohesion.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing project work under supervision.
