Job summary

TKDA invites a driven undergraduate or graduate architecture student to join our team as an Architecture Intern for summer 2027. You will work within a multidisciplined design and engineering group on projects for Class I Railroads and Mass Transit organizations nationwide from schematic design through construction.

You will develop schematic designs, edit specifications, and prepare construction documents while leveraging AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Undergrad pursuing Architecture (BSArch) or Grad pursuing MArch.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit desired.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop schematic designs.
• Assist with specification preparation and edits.
• Prepare construction documentation.
• Collaborate with Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural engineers.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit throughout project lifecycle.
