Job summary

This leader directs engineering and architecture staff to align delivery with safety, quality, and performance standards, while mentoring teams and coordinating with regulatory stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer (PE) with eligibility for practice in Florida.
• 10+ years of professional experience in a multi-discipline architecture/engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering technical facilities projects across a multi-disciplinary portfolio including design oversight, construction administration, and turnover to sustainment.
• Shape long-term planning for the facilities portfolio, driving strategic and innovative delivery of projects to enhance guest experiences and asset reliability.
• Coordinate plans across engineering, architecture, operations, sustainment and project delivery teams to balance workload and align with business objectives.
• Build partnerships with internal clients, global engineering teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies to advance complex projects.
• Mentor peers and junior professionals, promoting accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Support portfolio planning and workload management by providing technical insight and addressing resource constraints.
• Contribute to onboarding, technical training, and development across disciplines to grow organizational capability.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership to ensure compliance with standards, guidelines, codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams and consultants during design and construction to ensure quality outcomes and alignment with objectives.
• Champion effective project closeout and turnover to sustainment, including documentation and knowledge transfer to operations.
• Model Disney values through collaboration, care, and respect, fostering an inclusive environment for teams to succeed.
• Serve as a senior technical leader, balancing hands-on execution with mentorship and cross-departmental influence.
