Job summary

MVE + Partners, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee all architectural aspects of project development, from design through construction documents and specifications. You will manage 3-4+ project teams, establish project objectives, and ensure deliverables meet schedule and budget.

Lead client relationships, mentor staff, and contribute to business development. You will review construction documents and write architectural specifications, coordinating with owners and ensuring code

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Licensed Architect in California.
  • Multifamily residential project experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in a professional architecture office.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Establish project objectives and specify strategies to achieve deliverables outlined in scope
  • Lead, direct, and coordinate team members and consultants from inception through completion
  • Manage project teams, assign and mentor staff, and make authoritative project decisions
  • Monitor time and budget using Deltek, advising Leadership as required
  • Establish and facilitate client and internal meetings; manage client relationships
  • Participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance
  • Contribute to proposals, RFPs, charrettes, design competitions, and business development
  • Maintain awareness of project schedules, fees, budgets, and pricing strategy
  • Review and prepare construction documents for accuracy across all disciplines
  • Write and edit architectural specifications; coordinate legal parameters with owners
  • Apply working knowledge of MEP systems and codes (IBC, CBC, ADA, Title 24, BOMA)
  • Manage construction administration including RFIs, RFPs, change orders, and submittals

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee all architectural aspects of project development, from design through construction documents and specifications. This role manages multiple project teams simultaneously (typically 3-4+ projects), establishes project objectives, and ensures deliverables are completed on schedule and budget. You will lead client relationships, mentor staff, and contribute to business development activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish project objectives and specify strategies to achieve deliverables outlined in scope
  • Lead, direct, and coordinate team members and consultants from inception through completion
