Job summary

Pella is seeking an Architectural Representative to build long‑term relationships with architects, designers, and industry groups in the St. Louis area.

You will promote Pella’s product portfolio, advance project leads, and support specifications that favor our offerings. The role requires direct architectural experience (5+ years) or strong architectural sales background, plus proficiency with MS Office and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in architecture or architectural sales required (minimum 5 years).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices; ability to learn internal software. AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote visibility of Pella products within the architecture and design community.
• Actively pursue new architect and designer account prospects weekly.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of architectural concepts, construction practices and building codes.
• Present Pella product demonstrations and continuing education courses to groups.
• Read, interpret, take-off, blueprints.
• Communicate knowledge of window and door installation systems through drawings and specifications.
• Understand building science concepts common to architecture/design.
• Engage in AIA, CSI, HBA and other industry associations and events.
• Use CRM to collect and manage leads and project information.
• Coordinate project quoting and management within Pella systems.
• Represent Pella professionally and uphold high ethical standards.
• Collaborate with team members to support corporate culture.
• Identify and develop a focused target list of architect and designer prospects.
