Job summary

Corwil Architects in Miami, FL seeks an Architectural Project Manager to lead projects from schematic design through construction administration. You will manage schedule, budgets, consultant coordination, and client relations as the primary liaison with contractors and permitting agencies.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture and 7+ years in architecture, with 3+ years managing projects. Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of codes and permit processes are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 7+ years of architecture experience, including 3+ years managing projects.
• Proficiency in Revit; thorough knowledge of construction documents and codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication; client-facing skills.
• Experience with multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial project types.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects concurrently from concept through construction administration.
• Lead design team coordination from schematic design through construction documentation.
• Develop and manage project schedules, work plans, budgets, and milestones.
• Serve as primary liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and permitting agencies.
• Coordinate structural, MEP, civil, and landscape consultants and review deliverables.
• Oversee preparation of construction documents and perform quality control reviews.
• Manage scope changes and additional services requests.
• Conduct site visits, attend OAC meetings, and lead construction administration.
• Ensure compliance with Florida Building Code and Florida Fire Prevention Code.
• Mentor project architects, designers, and drafters on the team.
• Support fee proposals, contract negotiations, and value engineering as needed.
