Job summary

Actalent seeks an experienced Architectural Project Manager to oversee multiple multi-family and retail fit-out projects from design through construction documents and administration. You will guide assistant project managers and junior staff, coordinating with owners and consultants.

Based in Cedar Grove, NJ, this permanent, hybrid role requires hands-on use of Revit (80%) and AutoCAD (20%), strong design development skills, and adherence to company policies while delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple architectural projects.
• Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.
• Proven ability to guide projects from design through construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple multi-family and retail fit-out projects.
• Oversee assistant project managers and junior staff.
• Utilize Revit 80% of the time and AutoCAD 20% of the time.
• Work through all project phases from design development to construction documents and administration.
• Analyze project context, materials, and precedents.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary designs in plan, section, and elevation.
• Create 3D visualizations of design concepts.
• Plan project sites and conduct zoning and local code analysis.
• Coordinate project designs with other disciplines.
• Read and interpret drawings, technical docs, schematics and reports.
• Attend meetings with owners, clients and consultants.
