Job summary

SWD Architects Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee architectural projects in Kansas City, MO, from conception to completion. This on-site role requires coordinating with design teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure scope, schedule, and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed architect with strong knowledge of design, building codes, accessibility, and construction, and experience in multi-family housing or historic renovation/adaptive reuse is preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be a licensed architect, with a good understanding of design, building codes, accessibility and construction. Multi-family housing and historic renovation and adaptive reuse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through all phases including design, construction documents, and construction administration
• Manage client and consultant meetings
• Coordinate documentation with the consultant team
• Must be able to prioritize and concurrently manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD and general Microsoft Office programs
