Job summary

HDR is seeking an Architectural Project Manager in the United States (Missouri, Kansas City). You will lead multi-discipline teams, manage budgets, and coordinate client relations through the project lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture, a registered architect, and 7+ years of related experience with at least 2 years in project management. PMP and LEED credentials are preferred. HDR values collaboration and employee ownership in a global design culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 7+ years related experience.
• 2+ years project management.
• Registered Architect.
• Ability to lead a team on projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams through the project's lifecycle.
• Responsible for all aspects of complex small to medium projects or routine large projects.
• Produce and coordinate several small to medium projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle and ensure deliverables on schedule.
• Track financials and adjust work effort to stay within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations and Leadership for periodic reviews; implement QA/QC procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.
