Job summary

O’Connell Robertson is seeking an Architectural Project Manager (Healthcare) in the Austin area to lead hospital and healthcare projects from concept through construction. You will act as the primary liaison for clients, coordinate internal teams and external consultants, and ensure design quality and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in architecture with at least 4 years in healthcare, plus a Texas-registered license preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience, including 4 years in Healthcare design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Registered Architect in Texas preferred.

Our progressive Architecture Team seeks a talented Healthcare Project Managerto lead projects in the Austin, TX region. This person will be the main point of contact for our Healthcare clients in the region. Strong client-facing experience along with strong technical skills is critical for the success of role.

• Collaborate on Healthcare Architecture Projectswith various clients
• Develop and maintain effective verbal, graphic, and written communication with clients that support positive, long-term relationships.
• Plan, direct and supervise the architectural team members and coordinate consultant responsibilities of studies, design or construction documents of various scale projects.
• Interpret, organize, execute and coordinate the development of individual or multiple projects, maintaining oversight to achieve goals of the firm.
• Assist in the creation and continued development of design concepts through all phases of design.

We’re looking for passionate, driven self-starters. Beyond that, you’ll need…

• 8+ years of professional experience, inclusive of 4 years of experience in Healthcare design
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecturefrom an accredited program/school
• Registered Architect in the State of Texas is preferred. Candidates with related or similar professional experience will be considered.
• Strong, comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles/practices, including project financial, schedule and resource planning.
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures.
• Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
• Engaging Communication style with clients, teams and consultants
• Must be quality minded and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple shifting priorities with intentional schedules.
• Experience and proficiency with Healthcare projects and licensing requirements required. Education/ Commercial /Institutional market experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with sustainability standards, Revit, Bluebeam, Newforma and Office Suite is preferred.
