Job summary

MG2 Corporation, a Colliers Engineering & Design affiliate, seeks an Architectural Project Manager to lead client programs in Seattle, WA. You will guide project teams through design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration, managing schedules and budgets while maintaining MG2’s design excellence.

Responsibilities include contract management, milestone planning, QA/QC, proposal support, and ongoing client communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
  • Certification as a license professional preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery.
  • Basic knowledge of architectural contracts and contract execution procedures.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Auto-CAD, and MS Office.
  • Demonstrated expertise utilizing collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams through all project phases and ensure deliverables meet contract, schedule, budget, and MG2 quality standards.
  • Ensure required contracts are in place prior to starting contract deliverables.
  • Create and maintain milestone-based project schedules and staffing workplans.
  • Create and maintain detailed Project Charters with QA/QC plans for all work.
  • Assist with development of proposals and RFP responses as requested.
  • Monitor project financial status and conduct interim reviews with Team Leads or PIC.
  • Review monthly invoicing and consultant billing.
  • Produce weekly project updates and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Lead internal and external project team meetings.
  • Participate in Quality Control procedures and review deliverables.
  • Oversee Construction Administration activities including RFI/Submittal logs and site visits.
  • Conduct project debriefs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Initiate project close-out procedures aligned with contractual obligations.
  • Manage resources and maintain quality and profitability.
  • Provide performance feedback and conduct 1:1 check-ins (People Managers).
  • Conduct mid-year and year-end performance reviews (People Managers).
