Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is hiring an Architectural Project Leader in the Carlsbad area to oversee project production, documentation, and construction administration onsite. The role emphasizes leading design development, coordinating Revit-based construction documents, and mentoring junior staff to deliver high-quality building projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture preferred.
• 5+ years of architectural experience, including construction document production and coordination.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional Revit experience.
• Strong knowledge of California building codes, detailing, and construction documentation.
• Experience supporting construction administration (RFIs, submittals, revisions, issue resolution).
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural project production and coordination through design, documentation, and construction administration.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate construction documents using Revit.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, engineers, internal design teams, and clients to align with schedules and goals.
• Review drawings for quality, constructability, coordination, code compliance, and technical accuracy.
• Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, revisions, and issue resolution.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior team members to support project quality and professional development.
