AppleOne Employment Services in Carlsbad, CA, seeks a Senior Architectural Project Manager to lead complex projects from early design through construction in person. You will cultivate strong client relationships and drive high-quality design delivery.

You will coordinate consultants, manage schedules and budgets, guide documentation, and ensure communication, technical accuracy, and design excellence across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture preferred.
• 7 to 8+ years of architectural project management experience.
• Hands-on Revit experience required.
• Architectural license preferred or active pursuit of licensure.

• Manage architectural projects through all phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction administration, and closeout.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, governing agencies, utility providers, and public stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams while managing schedules, staffing, budgets, and project deliverables.
• Oversee construction documents, specifications, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project scope, quality, code compliance, risks, timelines, and budgets while identifying proactive solutions.
• Support client relationship management, proposals, presentations, interviews, and related business development efforts.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $140,000 to $170,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture preferred.
• 7 to 8 or more years of architectural project management experience.
• Hands-on Revit experience required.
• Architectural license preferred or active pursuit of licensure.
• Strong experience managing projects across all phases of architectural delivery.
• Working knowledge of current building codes, construction documentation, and project delivery standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail, strong decision-making skills, and a commitment to design quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with K-12, higher education, civic, public, healthcare, commercial, or retail projects.
• Familiarity with BIM and Revit workflows.
• Experience with sustainable design and green building practices.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, or Lumion.
• Strong background in value engineering, material selection, design reviews, and consultant coordination.
