DWS, Inc. is seeking a Board-Certified Architectural Openings Consultant (AOC) to be the technical cornerstone of Division 8 and 10.

You will guide hardware scheduling, code compliance, and electrified openings integration for high-security, complex projects in the California market. You will collaborate with Tier-1 general contractors, architects, and facility managers, ensuring 100% accuracy from design through field installation.

Formación

• Active AOC designation from DHI is mandatory.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in the California commercial door/hardware market.
• Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software (AvaWare, Bluebeam, ProLink).

Responsabilidades

• Specification & scheduling of hardware, hollow metal specs, and wood door requirements for large-scale projects.
• Serve as the final authority on CBC, NFPA 80, NFPA 101, and ADA/Title 24 compliance.
• Lead coordination between electrified hardware and low-voltage security contractors for seamless integration.
• Partner with architects during design development to draft proprietary specs aligned with products.
• Conduct site walks for complex retrofits and provide high-level troubleshooting for the installer division.
• Mentor sales and estimating teams to elevate product knowledge.
