Astro Metal Craft in Hanover, MN seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee architectural metals from design through installation, coordinating with clients, drafters, procurement and production to meet schedule, budget and quality goals.

Requirements include 5+ years in project management for metal fabrication, ability to read blueprints and specs, and proficiency with Excel, Trello or Procore. This on-site, full-time role offers growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in architectural metals or metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of metal materials, finishes, and fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Excel, Trello, Procore.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of architectural metal projects, including design, fabrication, and installation.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and vendors.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and resolve issues proactively.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure constructability and feasibility.
• Oversee vendor quotes, material orders, and subcontractor bids.
• Track and report on project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee quality assurance during fabrication and installation, and manage risk.
