Job summary

Ultipro in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a skilled metal shop worker to perform essential duties in a manufacturing environment. You will follow work orders, operate and maintain tools, and polish metal products to meet drawings.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a metals shop, a high school diploma or GED, and experience with architectural metal polishing. You must pass drug and audiogram tests and be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in a metals shop or manufacturing facility.
• High School Diploma or GED; some additional training at technical school.
• Experience polishing architectural metals.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Must pass an audiogram test.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work according to the work order, to the satisfaction of the customer and to Shamrock Metals, LLC quality standards.
• Setting up, operating, and maintaining all relevant tools and machines, including hand routers, saws, stationary equipment, and power hand tools.
• Working 40 to 50+ hour work weeks.
• Obeying all company, OSHA, and other safety regulations.
• Maintaining or reducing labor/material costs for each project.
• Consulting with engineering and Production Manager on construction techniques.
• Polishing custom metal products in accordance with drawings from drafting department.
• Working individually with little supervision and as part of a team.
