Job summary

Ballinger in Philadelphia seeks an Architect to lead programming, conceptual design, schematic design, and construction documentation. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients on innovative projects across health care, academic, corporate, and government sectors.

The role emphasizes mentorship, project leadership, and design excellence, with a hybrid on-site schedule at our Philadelphia headquarters. Professional registration is preferred, with 5–15 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Architecture or equivalent; BS/BA in Interiors or equivalent experience.
• Five to fifteen years of experience preferred; professional registration preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead programming, conceptual and schematic design, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with discipline teams, clients, and external consultants.
• Mentor junior staff and develop project standards.
• Produce 3D renderings and field site reports as needed.
• Ensure budget adherence and effective project leadership.
