Job summary

Ballinger seeks a Designer II to collaborate through the complete design and construction process, specializing in healthcare, academic and research facilities. You will translate concepts into drawings, coordinate with engineers, and develop design concepts with a focus on detailed specifications.

Our interdisciplinary teams merge architecture, interior design and engineering. Ballinger values ideas, mentorship, and leadership opportunities within a flexible, hybrid Philadelphia-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/BA/BS in architecture or interior design; or equivalent experience.
• In final stages of licensure (RA).
• Entry level or up to five years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct design related research.
• Interface and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Develop project knowledge across care, research, and workspace domains.
• Produce 3D renderings and attend to redlines.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge.
• Create and maintain firm technical standards.
