Job summary

Actalent in Annapolis, MD is seeking an Architectural Job Captain to lead design and documentation efforts on a diverse portfolio. You will balance client interaction, coordination with consultants, and hands‑on project leadership from concept through construction.

The role targets professionals with 5–7 years of experience, strong Revit skills, and a track record in producing construction documents and managing multiple deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional architectural experience.
• Strong proficiency with Revit.
• Experience producing and coordinating construction documents.
• Familiarity with construction administration and consultant coordination.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within project teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of project development, including programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Prepare and coordinate floor plans, elevations, building sections, interior layouts, and construction documents.
• Develop design concepts and create graphics, renderings, and visualization materials for client presentations.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, interior designers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Attend and contribute to client meetings, design reviews, and project presentations.
• Research building products, materials, finishes, fixtures, and equipment to support project goals and design intent.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, finish samples, and construction-related documentation.
• Support construction administration efforts, including responding to RFIs and coordinating with contractors.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously at varying stages of development.
