Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Pasadena, CA seeks an Architectural Job Captain to lead healthcare project document production from schematic design to closeout. You will coordinate structural, MEP, and specialty consultants to ensure clean, compliant drawings and resolve technical issues on complex projects.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years of architectural experience, is proficient in Revit, and understands Title 24, CBC and HCAI.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive construction document production on complex healthcare projects from SD through CA and close out.

• Manage RFIs, submittals, and field issues during construction.

What You'll Do

Drive construction document production on complex healthcare projects from SD through CA and close out. Own the technical resolution of your projects — coordinating structural, MEP, and specialty consultants to make sure everything fits, functions, and complies. Lead individual or team QA/QC efforts and ensure drawing sets hold up under plan check scrutiny. Manage RFIs, submittals, and field issues during construction with confidence and clarity. Mentor emerging staff and help build a culture where technical excellence is the standard.

Who You Are

You're a self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what needs doing — you see a gap and close it. You have 5–8+ years of architectural experience, with meaningful time spent on healthcare or other highly regulated project types. You know your way around Revit at a production level, and you understand California's regulatory landscape deeply — Title 24, CBC, and the HCAI environment. You're a problem solver at heart. When a detail doesn't work, you don't flag it and move on — you reach out to our team members for help, sketch some proposed solutions on your own for discussion, and bring your best efforts to the table.
