Old-Castle-Building-Envelop, a leader in architectural glass and building envelope solutions, seeks an experienced estimator to provide thorough, timely estimates for curtainwalls, storefronts, and skylights. You will analyze architectural plans and coordinate with engineering and sales to optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience in commercial glazing or architectural metal.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural blueprints and technical shop drawings.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu for digital take-offs and strong Excel for cost analysis.
• Understanding of glazing systems including curtainwalls and storefronts.
• Ability to communicate technical details clearly to customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs for aluminum and related hardware using digital tools.
• Develop comprehensive bills of materials for complex projects.
• Review Division 08 specifications to ensure product systems meet requirements.
• Calculate total project costs including materials and manufacturing labor.
• Prepare and submit bid packages and quotations to glazing and general contractors.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to provide VE options.
