Job description

Join our award-winning architectural firm in beautiful Bucks County, PA. We’re a small, established practice specializing in high-end residential design and historic preservation, serving clients from Manhattan to Miami. Our in-house interior design studio is based on an 11-acre property minutes from downtown Doylestown.

What You’ll Do:

• Draft and develop construction documents in CAD for wood-frame residential projects
• Support project architects on all phases: from schematic design to construction administration
• Translate hand sketches, markups, and design concepts into clear, buildable drawings
• Coordinate drawings for high-end homes and historic renovations
• Revise plans based on redlines, client feedback, and municipal comments
• Participate in occasional site visits for field measurements
• Collaborate with interior design staff, contractors, and engineers as needed

What You Bring:

• 3-5 years’ proven experience in architectural drafting (CAD) for residential wood-frame construction
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (SketchUp is a plus, not required)
• Experience in residential architecture
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce full sets of construction documents
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
• Reliable transportation to Doylestown office (office-based position)
