Job summary

RGS Products Inc., based in Waterford, PA, is seeking an Architectural Drafter/Detailer for a full-time, in-office role. The Drafter/Detailer will prepare drawings across project phases, generate plans and bills of materials, and coordinate with architects and project managers to ensure accurate, timely submittals.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of AutoCAD 2D experience, proficiency in Word/Excel and Bluebeam, and a design/drafting degree. Occasional site travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in design/drafting using AutoCAD 2D.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam PDF software.
• Clear verbal and written communication; ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documents and drawings for construction projects.
• Create plans, sections and details plus bills of material.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and clients to resolve drafting issues.
• Produce submittal drawings and support documentation; ensure schedules are met.
• Travel to job sites occasionally to troubleshoot installations (5% travel).
