This role is essential for translating architectural designs into precise construction drawings and documentation. You will work closely with architects and project managers to produce detailed technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical drafting skills and a keen eye for detail, looking to build their career in architecture within the vibrant Eastern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD software.


• Assist architects in developing schematic designs and construction documentation.


• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and comply with project standards and building codes.


• Coordinate with engineers and other consultants to incorporate their input into the drawings.


• Maintain and organize drawing files and project documentation.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent qualification.


• Proven experience as an Architectural Drafter or similar role.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally some experience with Revit.


• Strong understanding of architectural drafting conventions and symbols.


• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
