Davis Bowen Friedel (DBF) seeks an Architectural Designer to support the production of technical drawings, sketches, and specifications for a diverse range of facilities in Milford, DE. The role focuses on preparing construction documents for client presentations and bidding processes, with opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year architecture degree or a two-year degree with at least two years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM

Qualifications

• A four-year architecture degree or a two-year degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Architectural Desktop) and BIM (Revit) is preferred.
• Two years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction documents for bids and construction.
• Perform field activities: record measurements to depict existing structures.
• Create detailed and rough scale plans for foundations and buildings.
• Incorporate all information from surveys, project docs, and codes into design.
• Modify existing designs based on feedback and develop solutions.
• Provide timely technical assistance.
