Job summary

Woolpert seeks an Architectural Designer to join our Architecture team in Coral Gables or Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will contribute to design development, prepare presentation drawings and specifications, and coordinate construction documents for public and private projects.

The ideal candidate holds a 5-year architecture degree (or master’s), 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with REVIT, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop. LEED preferred and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in architecture.
• LEED certification is preferred.
• 3+ years of job-related experience in design of complex facilities.
• Proficiency with REVIT, AutoCAD, SketchUp and PhotoShop.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schematics, design development and construction documents.
• Research materials and determine appropriate selections for projects.
• Plan, coordinate and manage projects from programming through construction administration.
• Review submittals and assist project manager in construction administration.
• Analyze client problems and develop architectural solutions.
