Architectural Designer-High End Residential

Job Overview

We are seeking a Massachusetts-registered Architect or Architectural Draftsman with experience managing all phases of architectural design from inception to installation. The candidate must be capable of handling multiple projects of varying size and complexity, with high client interaction. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a client-centered approach, and multitasking ability are essential.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements.
2. Create detailed drawings illustrating the building's appearance and interior structure.
3. Utilize CAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Cloud suite proficiently.
4. Lead staff in developing project drawings, studies, and budgets.
5. Visit construction sites to ensure adherence to architectural plans.
6. Coordinate design fulfilment drawings with interior designers and external architects.
7. Manage third-party engineering collaborations.
8. Prepare construction and design drawing sets.
9. Understand the design process, including FF&E, specifications, and material selections.
10. Be familiar with Procore and be willing to stamp drawings.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in residential architectural design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Design Manager, Microsoft Office (Excel), and Procore.
