Job summary

OneFourTwo Design Group in Raleigh is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our full-service design-build team. You will collaborate with architecture, engineering, project management, and construction to translate concepts into practical design solutions.

The ideal candidate has a architecture degree and 2+ years of design experience, with strong Revit and CAD skills and proficiency in presentation drawings and renderings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field, with 2+ years of relevant design experience
• Ability to develop presentation drawings (including rendered/color site plans and elevations) and construction drawings is required
• Autodesk Revit experience is required
• Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Forma, and Enscape/Lumion experience is preferred
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite software is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with site and space planning for construction project managers
• Research building codes, zoning, and local design ordinances
• Prepare presentation drawings, diagrams, and renderings to clearly convey design ideas
• Review project scopes with construction project managers
• Produce architectural documents for permit submittal and construction
• Review and coordinate construction documents with project managers and consultants
