Job summary

INC Architecture and Design in New York City is seeking an Architectural Designer (Full-Time) to advance BIM modeling, design development, and presentation quality for high-end residential and hospitality projects.

The candidate will collaborate with engineers and clients, translate design concepts into 2D/3D visuals using Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, and Photoshop, and ensure NYC code compliance through documentation and coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience as Architectural Designer.
• Professional Revit experience and high-end residential or hospitality experience.
• Proficiency in rendering techniques to create visually appealing designs.
• INC embraces the use of AI; clearly identify AI usage in applications.

Responsibilities

• BIM Modeling (Revit/SketchUp/Rhino) for 2D/3D environment and mood conveyance.
• Design evaluation and adaptation of standard techniques with independent judgment.
• Participate in internal design meetings and refine ideas through iterations.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, clients, and others on design issues.
• Understand program requirements and optimize plan layouts.
• Produce 2D images or 3D walkthroughs using Enscape and Photoshop.
• Tailor presentation methods to convey design intentions.
• Select products and finishes for projects.
• Understand NYC code reviews to ensure design compliance.
• Produce construction documents using Revit for filing.
