Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 6+ years of architectural design experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and construction document production.
  • Experience developing design drawings and construction documents for commercial, institutional, infrastructure, or aviation-related projects.
  • Solid understanding of building codes, construction methods, and industry standards.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Work Environment

This is a hybrid opportunity supporting architectural and aviation infrastructure projects throughout the United States. Team members collaborate using Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite while working alongside architects, engineers, and project stakeholders. Current projects include airport terminal improvements, aviation support facilities, tenant relocations, and other large-scale infrastructure developments. The role offers a mix of office-based design work, coordination meetings, and occasional site visits to support project execution and professional growth.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
