Job summary

Steinberg Hart in San Francisco is seeking an Architect/Designer to develop project elements into functional plans, elevations and sections, aligned with project scope and schedule. You will produce 3D renderings, construction drawings and AutoCAD layouts while translating sketches into digital designs.

You will participate in all design phases, manage time, support design reviews, and coordinate with clients and consultants to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• A degree in Architecture, related field or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in all phases of the design process including programming, schematic design, design development and construction documents and construction administration.
• Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings.
• Translation of hand sketches into AutoCAD designs, detail development, physical and virtual model making, drawing layout for Schematic Design and Design Development, and picking up redlines on Design Development and Construction Documents.
• Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination.
• Meet deadlines for design deliverables.
