Your Opportunity

You will work under the guidance of a Senior Designer or Architect. Licensure is not required but is expected to be a short-term goal.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Keep the Project Manager informed of progress on expectations, deadlines, and deliverables. Participate in team meetings, charrettes, and coordination sessions.
• Assist in monitoring and coordinating consultant work and deadlines.
• Support project teams in developing designs through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats.
• Utilize Autodesk Revit and other BIM technologies to develop three-dimensional models of buildings and components.
• Prepare and revise documentation across various architectural phases, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical) to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
• Assist in contract administration tasks.
• Participate in project coordination and meetings with internal teams and external consultants.
• Implement sustainable design principles into building designs and surrounding environments.
• Support site analysis, research of concepts, benchmarks, typologies, and precedents.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Ability to support multiple Project Managers and projects simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of accessibility codes, life-safety codes, building systems, materials, and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently, take direction, and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Revit, InDesign, Photoshop; experience with Enscape, SketchUp, and Newforma is a plus.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.

Work Environment

Typically, an office environment involving computer work and sedentary activity. Work from home may be optional up to two days per week depending on the project.
