Description Overview: We are seeking a Architectural Designer to support architects and designers in the development and execution of design projects. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit to produce accurate, detailed, and high-quality design drawings. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines. We welcome candidates with at least 6 years of experience or motivated recent graduates who can demonstrate self-starting capabilities.
Location: Remote (working on CST time zone)
Responsibilities:
- CAD/Revit Design Support:
• Assist architects and designers by creating, updating, and modifying CAD and Revit drawings based on project requirements and markups.
• Update schematic designs and refine detailed drawings to align with the latest project changes.
• Ensure that all designs and drawings are accurate and meet quality standards.
- Project Documentation & Filing:
• Maintain organized and accessible project files, including as-built documentation and design revisions.
• File completed drawings and project documentation according to established filing protocols, ensuring easy retrieval and accessibility.
- Collaboration & Communication:
• Actively participate in project meetings, collaborating with architects, designers, and other team members to ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and any design issues effectively with team members and management.
- Design Precision & Deadline Management:
• Ensure all designs meet the necessary accuracy standards and reflect attention to detail throughout the design and drafting process.
• Work within established deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-Directed Work:
• Work independently with minimal direction, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately while managing your workload.
• Take initiative to identify project needs and resolve issues independently when necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit, with a strong understanding of drafting and design principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with architects and other team members.
- Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks with little direction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 6 years of experience with AutoCAD and Revit design, or relevant experience in a similar role.
