Actalent is seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our team in Holland, MI, supporting from inception to construction documents. You will work with the Project Architect and Architectural Practice Leader, translating sketches into detailed drawings and coordinating with outside consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture.
• Preferred 3 years minimum experience or a Master's in Architecture degree.
• Skills in Revit, construction document, architectural design, construction administration, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Architect and Architectural Practice Leader from project inception to completion of construction documents.
• Convert basic schematics, renderings, 3D models, and design sketches into detailed construction documents and specifications.

Essential Skills

• Excellent written, verbal, listening, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in relevant Computer Aided Design programs: Revit & Enscape.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
• Detail oriented, action oriented, self-starter, and team player.
• Ability to multi-task and manage project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

The company operates two offices, one in Holland and one in Grand Rapids. The Grand Rapids office is smaller, while the Holland office houses most of the construction team. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, providing a great opportunity to engage with a dedicated team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
