Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a forward-thinking construction firm in Hammond, Indiana, to hire a Drafter/Architectural Designer. You will drive BIM coordination across large-scale projects, integrate digital workflows with fabrication, and support model-to-production alignment.

With 2-5+ years in BIM, strong Revit skills, and familiarity with Navisworks and Rhino/Grasshopper, you’ll influence teams to adopt modern BIM practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

$35 - $45 per hour + Bonus + ESOP + Full Benefits + Relocation Support

THE ROLE:

THE PERSON:

• 2-5+ years of experience in BIM, digital construction, or 3D modelling within construction or manufacturing.


• Strong proficiency in Revit, with additional experience in Navisworks, Rhino/Grasshopper, Inventor, SolidWorks, or CAM tools desirable.


• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Technology, or related field with understanding of parametric design and construction processes.


• Innovative mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to drive adoption of new digital workflows.
