Job description

A globally renowned architecture and interior design studio based in Los Angeles are looking for a talented BIM Manager with a background in architecture to join them.

About this role

This BIM Manager position involves developing, testing and implementing Revit and BIM workflows across a wide range of projects both locally and firmwide. You will work closely with design teams to create solutions and develop tools for automation of tasks. You will work closely with senior leaders to develop training programmes and support the development and smooth running of projects at different stages across the studio.

About you

• You will have advanced knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• You will have experience with leading office-wide BIM strategy and compliance, including the development of project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) in line with global standards.
• You will have experience with the set up and management of BIM models, generating clash detection reports and developing custom Revit families.
• You will have worked on a range of projects from early concept design through to project delivery.
• You will have prior experience of leading training programmes, creating documentation and supporting staff in best use of BIM related tools and methodology.
• You will ideally have good knowledge of Dynamo, Rhino, and SketchUp.
