Actalent is seeking an Architectural Designer / Project Architect for a contract-to-hire role in Grandville, MI. You will lead design development, documentation, and coordination with clients and project teams, balancing hands-on design with project leadership to meet client goals, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities include developing and reviewing construction documents, floor plans, elevations, and details for commercial projects, with emphasis on coordination and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required; Master’s preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit for design, documentation, and coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and construction drawings.
• Experience in commercial architecture projects, not residential.
• Strong ability to develop and review construction documents.

Job Description

The Architectural Designer / Project Architect leads architectural projects from concept through construction, overseeing design development, documentation, and coordination with clients and project teams. This role combines hands-on design work with project leadership, ensuring that each project meets client goals, adheres to budgets and schedules, and complies with applicable codes and standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grandville, MI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
