James Perse Los Angeles is seeking an Architectural Design Associate to join the In-House Architectural Design Team at our Marina del Rey corporate office. You will support the development and construction of new retail stores and maintain existing locations, collaborating with consultants and vendors.

You should be thorough, detail-oriented, and able to oversee multiple tasks from concept through construction.

Formación

• B. Arch or B.A in Architecture or credentials in Interior Architecture/Design.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in all phases of design.
• Retail experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the team in all phases of design from concept through construction.
• Assist communications with project-related consultants and vendors.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance and logistics projects.
• Build, render, and maintain 3D models.
• Draft architectural drawings and details.
• Prepare digital and physical design presentations.
• Maintain sample and material library.
• Order new samples and ship reference samples to vendors.
• Contribute to daily administrative tasks across projects.

WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING AT OUR CORPORATE IN MARINA DEL REY

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

The Architectural Design Associatewill work as an integral part of the In-House Architectural Design Team. The candidate shouldsupport the team in both the development and construction of new retail stores, and in the upkeep of existing retail locations. The candidate should be a team player with a strong design sensibility and excellent communication skills. In addition, the candidate should be thorough, detail-oriented, and have the ability to oversee multiple short and long-term tasks to completion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the team in all phases of design, from concept through design development and construction
• Assist the team in communications with project-related consultants and vendors
• Assist the team in coordinating and scheduling maintenance and logistics projects
• Building, rendering, and maintaining 3D models
• Drafting of architectural drawings and details
• Preparing digital and physical design presentations
• Maintaining sample and material library
• Ordering new samples and shipping reference samples to vendors
• Contribute to daily administration tasks on various projects such as organizing and creating new project files, downloading, uploading, and/or sending files, maintaining printed drawing sets for office use, plotting and printing drawings, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE

Education:

• B. Arch or B.A in Architecture or credentials in Interior Architecture/Design

Special Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite
• V-Ray experience is a plus

Work Experience:

• 0 - 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably working in all phases of design
• Retail experience is a plus

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The salary for this position is $28.00 hourly.

You must be authorized to work in the United States.
