Job summary

Acme Brick, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly motivated Architectural & Commercial Sales Representative in Houston. You will market, present, and sell building materials to architects, designers, contractors, and developers, with a 6–9 month paid training program to build product knowledge and sales skills.

Responsibilities include developing relationships, providing specs and samples, preparing quotes, presenting at jobsites and events, and using CRM systems to track opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with architects, designers, and builders.
• Ability to read specs, interpret product data sheets, and present design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, builders, and owners.
• Provide product specifications, technical information, samples, and design assistance for proper product selection.
• Identify sales opportunities, present solutions, prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and work toward sales goals.
• Conduct educational presentations and product demonstrations at jobsites, firm locations, marketing events, and trainings.
• Represent Acme Brick professionally in presentations to groups and at events.
• Track projects from design through completion to influence specifications.
• Maintain sample libraries and product information for in-house and design firm use.
• Participate in CRM reporting and market development activities.
