Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Architectural Assistant intern for a hybrid role in Queenstown. You will assist with drafting, documentation, 3D modeling, and site visits under the guidance of experienced architects.

The internship offers hands-on exposure across project phases, mentorship, and a supportive team environment, ideal for building foundational skills while contributing to diverse architectural projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an Architecture or Architectural Technology program.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting and follow instructions effectively.
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to architectural projects in Queenstown.

Responsibilities

• Support architects and technologists in producing architectural drawings and design documentation.
• Assist in the creation and updating of 3D models and visualizations.
• Help prepare project files, presentations, and specifications.
• Conduct research on materials, building regulations, and project-specific information.
• Participate in site visits and assist in documenting site conditions.
• Provide general administrative support to the architectural team as needed.
