Job summary

Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber seeks an Intern Architect to support a variety of project types from concept to construction documents. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and gain hands‑on experience in design and documentation.

The role emphasizes Revit and SketchUp work, coordination with civil, structural, and MEP teams, and participation in meetings and site visits. Office base in Grand Rapids, MI with path toward architectural registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited university.
• Relevant architectural internship or co‑op experience.
• Experience using Revit and SketchUp in project development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and project team members.
• Assist with architectural design development from concept to construction documents.
• Prepare and refine building concepts, design documents, and drawings.
• Create and modify project models using Revit and related tools.
• Research materials to support project development.
• Coordinate documents with engineering disciplines.
• Participate in project meetings, reviews, and site visits.
• Assist with high‑quality, coordinated deliverables.
