Job summary
The Zippertubing Company, TECHLITE division in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a creative Designer Architectural Acoustics for built spaces who blends design, visual communication, and technical problem solving with customer collaboration. This full-time onsite role supports design concepts for commercial interiors.
Ideal candidates have a strong portfolio, experience presenting to clients, and proficiency with SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture or related field.
- 5+ years in interior, architectural or product design with acoustics focus.
- Strong portfolio of commercial or architectural projects.
- Experience presenting concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
Responsibilities
- Architectural acoustics design and development of custom panel solutions for commercial interiors.
- Create concepts, layouts, finishes, and presentation materials.
- Develop renderings and visualizations to communicate design intent.
- Recommend materials, colors, textures, and finishes for performance and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and customers throughout the design process.
