TECHLITE Acoustics & Insulation, a division of Zippertubing Company, seeks a Designer - Architectural Acoustics to shape acoustical interiors. The role blends design, visuals, and technical problem solving with strong client collaboration for built spaces.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in interior or architectural design, a solid portfolio, and fluency with CAD tools and Adobe Creative Suite. This in-office Tempe position involves projects across healthcare, education, and commercial interiors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field and a strong professional portfolio.
• 5+ years in interior, architectural, or product design with commercial/architectural projects.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience with SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, CET, Rhino, or SolidWorks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; design concepts to customers.

Responsibilities

• Architectural acoustics design and development for commercial interiors.
• Create product concepts, layouts, finishes, and presentation materials.
• Develop renderings, mockups, and visualizations to communicate design intent.
• Recommend materials, colors, textures, and finishes for design and acoustics goals.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and customers throughout the design process.
• Present design concepts and product recommendations; provide design guidance during development.
• Work with cross-functional teams on product launches, marketing, and spec tools.
