Job summary

The Building People is seeking an Architect with an active Secret Clearance to lead architectural assessments of facilities and infrastructure in the Washington, DC area. The role focuses on evaluating building envelopes, finishes, and site features, and developing designs and specifications for space planning.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, at least 7 years of relevant experience, and experience supporting facilities projects.

• Ensure compliance with ADA, historic preservation, and environmental requirements.
• Support Facility Condition Assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 7 years of architectural experience.
• Experience supporting facilities projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Architect (RA).
• Federal facilities experience.
• Historic campus experience.
• Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and certifications.
• Our positions may require a background screening and clearance directly from the Government.
