Job summary

The Building People is seeking an Architect with an active Secret Clearance to lead architectural assessments of facilities and infrastructure in the Washington, DC area. The role focuses on evaluating building envelopes, finishes, and site features, and developing designs and specifications for space planning.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, at least 7 years of relevant experience, and experience supporting facilities projects.

Qualifications

Active Secret Clearance required.
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture required.

Responsibilities

Conduct architectural assessments of facilities and infrastructure.
Evaluate building envelopes, finishes, and site features.
Develop architectural designs and specifications.
Support space utilization and master planning efforts.
Prepare reports, estimates, and presentations.
Ensure compliance with ADA, historic preservation, and environmental requirements.
Support Facility Condition Assessments.
